XS16 (Mixer)

The XS mixer series are designed to simplify the user's work. This series uses quality potentiometers and 60 mm faders with dust covers. The XS16 is suitable for 19-rack mounting, through the application of the optional metal ears. The metal case also features a practical, built-in ergonomic handle for ease of transport. The XS series is easy to use, allowing even the least experienced user to become immediately familiar with the features offered.
All channels feature 4 Auxiliaries, Peak LEDs, Mute switch and PFL for total control in every situation. The stereo channel returns can be split to send each stereo signal to another console. Equalisation is an essential factor for every mixing console. In the XS series the Proel R&D team has conceived distortion-free circuitry and improved the headroom dynamics. This means great availability of equalisation without harsh sound.
The XS16 is equipped with a 3-band equalisation system. In the master section; two stereo control room outputs and an independent stereo headphone output guarantee all possible monitoring. A practical footswitch patch allows remote effect unit on/ off control. On the XS mixers you can rely on 4 Auxiliary sends to control external stage monitors, effects, or processors. 2 Auxiliaries are PRE-fader for stage monitors; 1 Auxiliary is PRE or POST fader (for stage monitor or an effect/ processing device); 1 fourth Auxiliary is to adjust the level of the built-in multieffect or external effect. All XS mixers are equipped with a new 24-bit DSP multieffect (with new reverb algorythms for more natural effects) with numeric display, 50 presets and 50 user programs, both selectable through a rotary knob. This solution permits easy personalisation of the effect and its storage in the built-in memory.
